Harlands’ Community Library Project

This library has been set up for the use of the Uckfield Community.

Please feel free to borrow books but please return them.

Please leave the library as you find it.

There is CCTV is in operation.

If you wish to donate books for this library, please hand them into the school office.

Why?

  • To promote the value of reading as an enjoyable and relaxing activity in itself, as well as highlighting its clear link to improving literacy, extending people’s perspective on the world, and gaining knowledge in various different forms.

  • To provide fiction and non-fiction resources to improve the educational opportunities of children and adults.

  • For our community to bring themselves together around education and reading.

  • To support communicates in encouraging children and adults to be creative, to have ideas, and to dream.


Who?

  • Anyone from the community can borrow and return books from the library.

  • Books in the library are mainly aimed at children and young adults.

  • Please return books after you have borrowed them.

  • If you wish to donate books please pass them onto the school office.
