The Camera

BirdBox Project
In Year 6 the children made some Birdboxes to sell at the Christmas fair. The children thought that it would be a good idea to look inside the birdbox when the birds were making the nest.
To make sure we did this safely and without disturbing the birds we bought a special birdbox that we have fitted a camera inside so that we can take a look.
Come early spring, our garden birds will begin their breeding season. Placing a nest box in your garden will not only give breeding pairs a helping-hand in finding somewhere safe to have their young. But it also provides an opportunity for you to get up close and personal with the goings-on inside with the use of a nest box camera.
